GREEN PROJECT BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: GIULIO PELLIZZARI VINCE IL GIRO DEL MEDIO BRENTA.
The 19-year-old from Marche sealed his first victory among the pros after several placings and the unfortunate withdrawal from the Giro Next Gen. Manuele Tarozzi, determined and decisive, supported his teammate.
In the breakaway from the start was Manuele Tarozzi, who was caught with 28km to go. He was the last survivor of the day’s 28-rider breakaway and later played an decisive role in protecting his teammate Giulio Pellizzari. With 10km to go, a decisive lunge was made by the rider from Marche, with Luca Cretti at his wheel. The two gained a margin against the immediate pursuers, Pellizzari regulated his sprint to defeat the Colpack Ballan CSB rider, securing his first victory as a pro. Completing the team’s amazing performance was Manuele Tarozzi, who finished on the podium.
Giulio Pellizzari’s words: “Finally, the first victory! I believed in it from the beginning. I absolutely didn’t want to go home as a loser. Another second place today wouldn’t have been good for me.
